Why Families Choose Brighter Days:
“Brighter Days has been working with my son for almost 5 years. Their carers are kind, calm and compassionate & positive role models for my son, who is now 17. For me having a reliable, flexible and supportive carer has been a game changer”
- Louise B.
“They genuinely understand teenagers. The support worker did not feel like a carer, but someone my son could relate to and trust. Communication was clear, reliable, and respectful, and it took a huge weight off our shoulders knowing he was supported properly.”
- Daniel T.
“What stood out was how well they matched the worker to our teen. There was no forcing, no awkwardness just a natural connection. Our family finally felt supported, and our teen felt understood, which is something we had struggled to find elsewhere.”
- Jasmine R.

FAQs
-
We understand that families often need support sooner rather than later.
Once you submit the form, we will call you the same business day to learn about your teen and what you are hoping for. Because we support families locally and work with a small, trusted pool of workers in Melbourne’s inner south-east, we can often suggest a suitable match within a few days, depending on availability and your teen’s needs.
We will always be upfront with you during the call about timelines and next steps.
-
We specialise in life‑skills support for autistic and neurodivergent teens: routines, community access, outings and practical independence.
We do not provide high‑intensity supports, specialised nursing or formal Behaviour Support services (writing behaviour plans, restrictive practices).
If your teen needs those services, we’ll let you know on the call and, where we can, point you towards more suitable providers. -
We currently support families across Melbourne’s inner south-east, including Hughesdale, Oakleigh, Carnegie, Malvern East, Murrumbeena, Chadstone and nearby suburbs.
If you are just outside these areas, please still get in touch we will let you know honestly whether we can help or whether another provider may be a better fit.
